North Riding Brewery's first beer was brewed in March 2015 after several months of planning and preparation. We are based at Unit 9 Betton Business Park, East Ayton which is on the outskirts of Scarborough in the Derwent Valley.
A tranquil setting where our beer is brewed on a weekly basis from our 10 barrel plant. We aim to produce modern ales which are traditionally brewed from the finest ingredients.
There are 4 core beers brewed on a regular basis as well as monthly specials.
Our Core Beers
Cascade Pale Ale : 4%
U.S. hopped pale ale using one of the first American hops to grace our shores, often neglected now due to newer varieties, we love this hop and the unique citrus qualities it puts into beer.
Mosaic Pale Ale : 4.3%
Mosaic hops are full of blueberry and citrus flavours and seriously pack a powerful punch. This is one juicy banger of a pale ale!
Citra Pale Ale : 4.5%
Citrus in a glass, the hop that keeps on delivering. Easy drinking premium pale ale with a grapefruit and lemon taste and aroma.
US Session IPA: 3.8%
Version 25 of our US Session IPA features Cascade, Chinook and Zythos. Flavours and aromas include distinct tropical (pineapple) and citrus tones with slight pine characteristics.
Aussie Session 4%
Australian hopped pale ale using Venture and Munich malt. Hopped with Galaxy in the kettle, for an initial hit of passionfruit, then dry hopped with Enigma, a very new Australian hop which imparts a unique fruity finish with notes of Pinot Gris.
Bravo imparts a pleasant fruit and sweet floral charcacter into this modern hop forward pale ale.
Milk Chocolate Stout 5%
Milk Chocolate Stout, the addition of lactose mutes the bitterness of the hops and dark malts to produce a sweet stout.
Pale Ale (V4) 4%
Version 4 of our Pale Ale range, expect grapefruit, pine, tropical fruits and subtle floral notes.
